Bag It Up

Pretty Green dropped their new bag range this week, and it ain't half decent. Styles to cover a range of requirements, from the young team desperate for a flash of paisley to the older sharp chap needing something timeless to cart about all their schmutter.

Backpacks for the young team first, okay...some of the older troops will fancy these as well. A mix of styles based on the same design, some wild in PG's house paisley and others with a more restrained pop or hidden splash of paisley hiding on the inner.

Nothing outlandish, a classic nylon backpack, some pockets and so on.

The line I'm liking more is the new Canvas range, very close to PG's original bag lineup which was outstanding. Kept simple in a Khaki colour option with a number of styles to hopefully cover off most requirements.

Duffle bags always hit the mark as a timeless style, but for me the Tote is the stand-out among the cool options.

A style catching a lot of eyes, is the Gym bag. And it's easy to see why, proper heritage smarts in a pair of muted but smart colour options. The blue version in particular has fluttered its eyelids at many a suitor.

I haven't seen one in the flesh, so unsure on the sizing, but if spacious these could make a great weekender option.

Last up is a collection of Black tone on tone styled classics. I'd guess PG are aiming for these to be considered a more formal and smarter option than the more casual trappings of the others.

All styles available now at prettygreen.com, priced £55-£125
