I Just Wasn't Made For These Times

Another day, another AW16 Black Label look. This time I've taken a very slight slice of inspiration from Brian Wilson's look on the cover of the Pet Sounds LP artwork.

Very much a winter shut-out style this one, something to keep the chill out on those frosty days ahead....

Starting with a classic Peacoat, PG's latest take on this pretty much ticks all the boxes. Some folks didn't like the brass button styles on the AW15 version, so hopefully this toned down version might hit more appeal.

Apparently style rules dictate that you shouldn't wear a scarf under a Peacoat, but a roll-neck. So we'll go with PG's new Triscombe. The pattern is maybe too full on for some, but poking out under a black jacket this will look the bollocks

Now then, some folks don't like a jumper on its own, it gets a little too itchy, so what better under one than a new l/s t-shirt style from Black Label? Will keep the itchiness at bay and will also look pretty cool on its own as you un-layer down the pub

The look would be cool with some black denim, but as we only have formal options on BL we'll go with the Wardle trouser style and it's subtle cross-hatching details.

Perfect smarts for some weekend ambling when you want to up your style stakes.

There's only so many outfits you can pair with a cool desert boot, I think this one deserves something different, a suede Chelsea Boot. Now as PG won't make this style I've pretended I'm a lottery winner and picked out the Grenson Declan style, it'd looks the business with this getup in my opinion.
