Dipping my toe into the world of online blogging that isn't on a direct social media platform. First post demands something very cool, and what better than a look at Pretty Green's new Black Label collection for the Autumn Winter 2015 season.
Taking a huge chunk of influence from both The Beatles and The Beach Boys, the range aims to serve up something classic that falls out of the juxtaposition of two hugely differing styles.
A couple of stand out pieces from the range are the Wilson Kaftan and the Carbury Overcoat. The Kaftan takes its print design from a shirt worn by Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys, it has been beautifully drawn by Pretty Green's resident artist into a new black/bronze pattern and used on a Pretty Green house classic, the half placket Kaftan.
What better to pair this with than a super cool over-length Overcoat. Picked out in a wool-mix and edge added with militaristic styled buttons this is an investment piece to re-reveal each Winter.
