Castelli Team Sky 2019

Castelli have unveiled the new kit for Team Sky, and what a nice move on it is. Reverting back to black after a years dalliance with white we get a stripped back classic look.

The base design is a colour fade, almost like an Astana or Movistar but in reverse with the fade up at the shoulder and going from dark into light.

I think Castelli have really pulled this one off with the black/dark ocean colouring they've gone with. I know it's important for Sky to retain their blue stripe on the back, but can't help dropping it would have looked a little better on the kit.

The overall look is very clean and uncluttered in comparison to a number of kit designs.

The data lines from the first 2 castelli offerings have been dropped, and I have to say the shirt looks all the better for it, cleaning up the look.

All in all, a top effort!
