Rapha Thermal Baselayer

Winter's dropping in fast, certainly in the UK there was a marked drop on the thermometer this week.

So it's time to look out the Winter woolies to regulate that all important core temperature.

Rapha's latest caught my eye this week, cool as always from them, the black/yellow combination in particular caught the glare just that little bit more.

Unusually for Rapha this is a polyester effort, not Merino wool. They've textured the inside of the fabric to help trap warm air next to the skin, always a good idea when we're down at zero degrees.

The Roll-Neck collar has some height on it, more like a snood, reaching up to the nose and ears for those really bitter days.

Lots of good baselayers out there, and yep £70 is a lot for a baselayer, but stand out from the crowd (under the jacket and jersey) with something a little bit different and cool.
